Plastic surgeon and member of the SBCP — the Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery — with more than ten years of surgical practice. Co-founder of Hospital Espaço da Plástica, educator and lecturer — part of the generation of surgeons who understand that no one operates well on what they have not studied deeply.
Career
From specialist registration to teaching other physicians, Dr. Rodrigo's career is that of someone who chose plastic surgery as a lifelong craft — and built, alongside his brother, the structure that choice demanded.
Active registration with the Regional Council of Medicine of Mato Grosso do Sul.
Specialist Qualification Registration (RQE) in Plastic Surgery.
Brazilian Society of Plastic Surgery.
A decade of operating-room routine, devoted to plastic surgery.
Conceived and manages, with his brother, the hospital dedicated exclusively to plastic surgery in Jardim dos Estados, in Campo Grande, MS.
Leads hands-on training for physicians — the Hands on Beauty workshop, hosted at the hospital itself, in small groups with supervised practice.
Philosophy of practice
For Dr. Rodrigo, the surgical act is only the visible part of a process that begins long before — in study, in planning, and in an honest conversation about what is possible for each case.
“There is no transformation without learning and knowledge.”
It is the standard he applies first to himself: whoever teaches other physicians cannot stop learning. In practice, that means consultations conducted calmly — the anatomy, the alternatives, and the limits of each technique, explained without haste — and an individualized plan before any surgical decision.
Areas of practice
Every surgical procedure involves risks. An individual consultation with a plastic surgeon is indispensable.
A hospital of their own
He operates in the facility he helped conceive: an in-house surgical center, an internal sterilization department, and recovery with hotel-style amenities — in a hospital where only planned elective surgeries take place, with no emergency room and no admissions for infectious diseases.
For the surgeon, that means control over every stage of the process. For the patient, it means being cared for, from preparation to discharge, by the same team — under the same roof.
